Intel Halts Business Services In Russia


Tech big Intel has canceled all business enterprise products and services in Russia amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Almost a month following Intel paused shipments to clients in Russia and Belarus, the enterprise introduced it was suspending all of its organization operations in the nation.

“Intel proceeds to be a part of the international community in condemning Russia’s war towards Ukraine and contacting for a swift return to peace,” Intel claimed Tuesday in a statement. “Effective right away, we have suspended all business functions in Russia. This follows our before choice to suspend all shipments to consumers in Russia and Belarus.”

A spokesperson for Intel confirmed to HuffPost that operations would be suspended indefinitely.

Intel reported it will continue on to “support all of our employees as a result of this tough predicament, like our 1,200 workers in Russia” and has “implemented enterprise continuity steps to decrease disruption to our world wide functions.”

A range of other tech corporations, like IBM, Dell Systems and Hewlett Packard, have also suspended providers in Russia as President Vladimir Putin proceeds his invasion of Ukraine.
